924Tiger Woods ended his winless streak of 924 days on the US PGA Tour by claiming a five-shot victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida.

62 – Age of two-time world darts champion John ‘Jocky’ Wilson, who died on Saturday night two days after his birthday. The Scotsman won the world title in 1982 and 1989.

156 – South Africa’s Alviro Petersen scored an 8½-hour 156 as South Africa took control of the third and final Test in Wellington. They currently lead the series over New Zealand 1-0.

9 – The Malaysian Grand Prix was red-flagged after just nine laps due to heavy rain. The race restarted after a 51-minute stoppage and was won by Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso.

232Lionel Messi broke the all-time Barcelona scoring record of 232 goals with a hat-trick in the 5-3 win over Granada on Tuesday night to take his total to 234. He scored again in Saturday’s 2-0 win at Mallorca to move to 235 overall and 55 for the season in all competitions.

3 – Number of players who were sent off (two for Celtic, one for Rangers) as Rangers beat Celtic 3-2 in the Old Firm derby to deny their rivals clinching the Scottish Premier League title on their own turf. Celtic require only four points from their last seven games to clinch the league, however.

2 – Spring Classics races won by Tom Boonen in the space of 48 hours last weekend. He won a record fifth E3 Harelbeke on Friday and followed that up with victory at Gent-Wevelgem (a record-equalling third win) on Sunday.

5 – Five goals were scored in the space of eight second-half minutes as Nottingham Forest won 7-3 at Leeds in mid-week.

14QPR scored three times in the final 14 minutes to overturn a 2-0 deficit to Liverpool to win 3-2.

20Manchester City‘s 2-1 win over Chelsea set a new Premier League record of 20 consecutive home wins.

Baines ended Swansea's run of not conceding a goal

379Leighton Baines‘ goal in Everton’s 2-0 victory at Swansea ended their opponent’s run of 379 minutes without conceding.

2 – Djibril Cisse‘s red card at Sunderland was only the second of his career – but both have come while playing for QPR, for whom he has only made five appearances.

1Wigan won at Anfield for the first time ever in the Premier League as they defeated Liverpool 2-1, having lost four and drawn two of their previous six visits.

20Tottenham‘s 0-0 draw at Chelsea continued their run of having never won in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge (drawn seven, lost 13).

2Aston Villa failed to register a shot on target in their 3-0 defeat at Arsenal, becoming the second team to do so against the Gunners this season. No other team has achieved this defensive feat more than once.

17Kieran Gibbs became Arsenal‘s 17th different league goalscorer this season, more than any other Premier League team.

2 – When Theo Walcott scored Arsenal’s second goal, it marked the first time two Englishmen (Gibbs, Walcott) had scored for Arsenal in a Premier League game since 1997.
